We are a wealth of experience and wisdom. Much of this lies in places we are not very good at accessing by ourselves. Past life regression therapy opens a door to healing that is not always accessible using our conscious mind.

What is Past Life Regression and Past Life Regression Therapy?

Past life regression is a therapeutic technique for accessing and re-experiencing your other life journeys. It is seen as a branch of hypnotherapy and, according to deeply experienced regressionist Carol Bowman, past life regression therapy has grown over the last 50 years to be an important addition to the healing arts. The popularity of Dr. Brian Weiss and the accessibility of his techniques have increased understanding and experience of the healing powers of this therapy.

Past life regression is healing. You were born not as a blank slate, but as a soul rich with both the wisdom and scars from many lifetimes.

We all carry memories from past lives into this life–unconscious memories that carry an energetic charge and continue to affect us. They can be things left undone, vows made, accomplishments, failures, mistakes, success, emotional debts, guilt, gratitude, traumatic and sudden deaths, wisdom, and love.

These charges from the past set up patterns which are continually triggered and repeated in our present life. These patterns can be positive or negative. They can affect our relationships, behaviors, motivations, and even our physical bodies and health. Positive patterns can feed talents, bestow wisdom, influence tastes, and energize life purpose. Negative patterns fuel destructive, compulsive behavior, cloud judgment, cause injury, and block your way.

By making these memories conscious, we can release the patterns that no longer serve us, freeing us to live more fully in the present. Beneficial patterns are reinforced, negative patterns are neutralized.

Past Life Regression is Spiritual

Past life regression is gaining recognition as a legitimate form of spiritual healing. No matter what religion you profess—or even if you don’t follow any religion—experiencing yourself as a soul in other lifetimes gives you a profound awareness that you are more than a physical body. You encounter your soul’s essence, connected and aligned to a greater universal energy, perhaps for the first time in your life. This has happened often in my sessions. For those who experience it, they feel truly at peace.

How can Past Life Regression Therapy help me?

Often people try past life regression simply out of curiosity to see who they were in the past.  But for most, it’s a path for personal growth and healing.  With the help of a trained guide, past life regression can help you:

What does a Regression session involve?

You will get into a deep state of relaxation, and you will be guided to a place where you can access your sub-conscious mind and inner wisdom, where you will find yourself gathering information. This may be in different forms – images, sounds, smells, stories, feelings – but it will be something personal and meaningful to you.

You will experience things that are important for you to be aware of at this time, which may include your childhood, parents, work life, key relationships, talents, any important events and your dying experience.

You will move through the dying process. This gives you information about the feelings and thoughts you took with you from previous lifetimes. It is important to be aware of these as they can be things that are relevant to you present life experiences.

You will have the chance to talk with yourself as you were in that regression experience and find out how it is affecting your life today.

You will be guided and supported to energetically release any resulting patterning that is holding you back today.

You will clear any adverse energy that is affecting your current life.

You will be safely and gently guided back to current time where you will have the chance to integrate your experiences into your life.

Each session takes between 2 – 3 hours.

 What are the practicalities of doing a Past Life Regression?

I am offering past life therapy sessions by Zoom, which I have found to be as effective as in-person sessions. It is good if you have a bit experience with Zoom, and have a quiet place, where you will not be interrupted for three hours, and that you have the necessary equipment to do the session: earbuds, a good microphone, and a camera (it is helpful if I can see your face while doing the regression, but I can do a session without a camera if that is too hard for you). Most of these things will be on your computer, or ipad or phone – except the earbuds.

You will need a comfortable place to lie down, with a good pillow for your head, and maybe one under your knees, and a blanket to keep you feeling warm, comfortable and snug. You will know what set up works best for you to relax. It is a good idea to have some water available for after the session and maybe a favourite rock or crystal, something that helps you feel grounded.

We will spend some time talking before we begin the regression and after the regression is finished.

You may feel a little lightheaded after the session, as your body processes what it has experienced, but this will settle down after a few hours. Some people may take longer, even a few days, and this is normal. It is a good idea to make sure you don’t have anything to do after the session that requires a lot of intense concentration. You might want to have something to eat, go for a walk in nature or have a sleep. All these will help your body assimilate the new learning.

I love to have a 10 – 15 minute chat with prospective clients  before we have our appointment. In our chat I can hear about your reasons for doing a regression, what you want to explore in a session, and a little about your background. This means when we start the paid session we can move a bit faster. I can also answer any questions you may have that aren’t answered in the Past Life Regression FAQ first. I will send you out a few forms to complete before we do a session so I can explain them as well in our chat.
